Now that Spring has decided to play 'Hide & Seek' with this year, I guess that it's wise for us to also try & sneak in some color into our outfits. Of course we still have to keep ourselves warm but also try to brighten up the dark days that are still upon us.
If only my work week would start on such a high note every time. I won the 'Fashion Designer of the Year 2017' award at the African Women in Europe Award Ceremony that took place in Berlin on Saturday. I am still on 'Cloud 9' & so so grateful to God & to everyone who in one way or another have been with me on this amazing journey. This award is not only mine but for us all. Thank you all so much.
Hope that I am not too late for the 'Mom-jeans' party but as they say, 'better late than never'. And as I always approach trends with caution, this new discovery was fround on Ebay, for a fraction of it's original price. Let's just say, I am already shopping for another pair of Mom-jeans to add to my collection because it is everything that i need in a pair of jeans, & especially in the warmer months.
It's kind of funny that whenever the idea of wearing Dungarees/Overalls came to mind, I've always associated it with pregnancy outfits. Maybe it's because it is one piece that is really loved by women when they are pregnant (but not by me). Somehow, as I try out new things in my outfits, I've decided to give them a try & am kind of loving them. Of course I prefer these 'Boyfriend-fit' ones to the form fitting ones because they are in my opinion more versatile with different styling options....
