Happy New Year! I heard that there is a certain deadline to using this phrase in the year, but we don't always have to play by the rules. Hope that you all crossed well & safe into the new year. I definitely did even though things have been a bit quiet here on my Blog. Somehow, I experienced a 'Blog-freeze' which can only be described as a lack of motivation to keep my Blog updated. But thankfully I am back & hope that things will get even more interesting as we go along the year....

Oh yes am back after a short hiatus here on the Blog, & no, I don't have any concrete excuse for my abscence. Life sometimes just happens & you get completely caught up in it. I felt like wearing a simple midi-skirt so I went ahead & made myself one with this fabric that has been lying around in my Fabric-stash for years. I also made a matching crop top but that will make its 'Blog-appearance' some other time. Hope that you are all well & am glad to be back.

February which in my view is the month of love is here with us & we have a reason to wear lots of red. This is one of my favorite red sweaters (only one actually) & it has been in my closet for almost 5 years. It is a trusty piece in my wardrobe that I can always rely on to brighten up any dull outfit.

Gone are the days when Camo Print was reserved for service men & women, now it has become a Fall fashion basic which is loved by everyone, & surprise surprise, by me too. I loved this fabric from the first time that I saw it & my plan was to make some kind of pants from it. But unfortunately I didn't buy enough of it & that's how it ended up being a circle skirt. The paperbag waist detail was just a little something that I felt that the skirt needed to give it a little edge. Am...
