This blog title doesn't really make sense at first does it...But let me try & explain it, October is here, am in an 'all black everything' outfit & currently at a happy place in my life. Just got back from a long weekend trip that was amazing, I feel fully recharged and ready to take on the last quarter of the year & all that it has to bring.

If I was a project manager at some construction firm, this is how I would show up at the construction site on Monday morning (in my head of course). An all black outfit or dressing in dark colors in general gives off some sense of authority or seriousness that go a long way in asserting a certain position. Don't you agree?

What is more fashionably reliable than an LBD (Little Black Dress) worn all year round. It is very elegant, works with every woman's shape & can be combined in so many styles & outfits. For someone who is a sworn lover of prints, I have to admit that I do own quite a few LBD's in my wardrobes & they are my 'rescue' go-to outfits when i really can't decide on what to wear, & this lace one is by far my favourite. Most if not all of us ladies usually dress up 'for the works' during the week, be it for work, running errands, shopping, attending meetings or meeting up with clients & this can get a bit tiresome as we head towards Friday. But thank God for the weekend when we can put on those simple outfits that we can lounge & do absolutely nothing in. Our outfits during the week are well thought of to go with whatever we have to accomplish, even to the tiny details of shoes, hair & make up....

This was my second time attending the annual 'Affordable Art Fair' in Hamburg & i quite enjoyed the experience this time, mainly because we didn't go with the Kids, so we had ample time to walk slowly through the gallery & take in the beauty of each and every piece of Art. Denmark is known for it's long & endless beaches & that I am a witness of. One of these is the 40km long Blavand Beach which lies in the Western part of Denmark on the shores of the North Sea. It is bordered by the Horns Rev Sandbanks which make it perfect for swimming & wind surfing. On it's northern part is the Military & natural reserve Kallesmaersk Hede where many migrating birds find refuge.
