If you are into movies like I am then am sure that you have watched a few where the character finds himself entering some sort of flying object & being transferred into a parallel world that he never knew existed. And that's exactly how I felt when I attended the recently ended 'Basel World 2018', an Exhibition for the Watches & Jewelry industry that takes place every year in Spring. Manufacturers of Watches, Jewelry & precious stones take this opportunity to introduce their new...

Who doesn't reach for their most comfortable piece of clothing that they own when the weather suddenly changes & temperatures drop? This sweater dress is that piece for me because not only is it warm & comfortable, but it also stylish in a simple way. I styled it differently in this previous post but on this day, we were just going shopping for a few things & I didn't really feel like going all the way out with the styling. So I teamed it up with my favorite socks & sneakers to...

Finding a camel coat that was the perfect length that I wanted & which was affordable too turned out to be a major problem. So, I decided to make one myself which turned out quite cute especially when styled with this Gingham top that I made myself too. And now that the sunny & warmer side of Spring is taking it's sweet time to show up, I get a chance to rock my new coat now.

This includes seeking to establish equal opportunities for women in education and employment. And often, we think to ourselves how we can support & play a part in this movement which is quite important for us & for the coming generations. What we don't always realise is that somehow...

I can literally count the number of 'white pieces' that i have in my wardrobe because 'white & I' have always had a Love-Hate relationship. Trust me, I love how crisp & clean it looks when you have on something white, but what I can't stand is the high maintenance side of it. You have to be careful about where you sit, how you eat, who or what you come into contact with, which with 2 kids is almost impossible to avoid. But because one of my 2017 resolutions is to come out of my comfort...

The 'Freilichtmuseum am Kiekeberg' is quite an interesting place to visit, with over 40 historical buildings which include farmhouses, Barns & workshops which are built in the same way as those between 1600 to the 1950's. There are several events that are held at the Museum & on this day, there was a big 'Tractor Show' where several Tractors were on display. Am not such a big fan of machines & locomotives but Hubby & my son were in heaven to see all the tractors. The museum is...

'Patriotism is love for country. But you can't love your country without loving your countrymen & countrywomen. We don't always have to agree, but we must empower each other, we must find the common ground, we must build bridges across our differences to pursue the common good.'...Cory Anthony Booker Someone once siad that a 'Patriot' is one who shouts the loudest without knowing what he is shouting about. This typically defines me when watching Kenyans take part in any sport competition,...
