Why are you all over sudden acting so serious? How come you nowadays don't have time for us? How come we don't see much of you around here? Who's that person taking you away from us? What's with the new look, different hair & make up? What's with the new look? Are you sure you are ok? I mean you said that you are ok but you sound different? How come you don't communicate with us as you used to? What's going on with you that you are not telling us? Why are you always smiling? What are you...

Have you ever read a book & felt as if you were watching a film? Yes, that's the feeling that I got when reading 'The Woman in the Window' by A.J. Finn. Am not such a big fan of thriller based books but since I got back to 'Audible', I've been pushing myself to try out new genres & this book did not disappoint me at all. It's full of twists, turns & suspence that one expects from a psychological thriller. Narrated by Anna Fox, a former child psychologist living in a big house in...

Someone recently labeled the current happenings in regards to the protests against Police Brutality & sheer Racism that has been taking place all over the world as a 'Black Lives Matter' moment'. A white Fashion & Lifestyle blogger who I follow & whose content I actually like. She then went ahead & corrected her statement & called it a 'Movement' instead of a 'Moment'. But you know what, the damage was already done because her viewing it as a 'passing thing' is exactly how...

Life can be really funny sometimes, I mean, who had ever thought that in 2020, every single thing in the whole wide world would come to a standstill. Absolutely nothing is like it used to be, many have experienced loss in unimaginable ways, but in a weird way, life still exists & is just going on (same but somehow different). I pray that you & your loved ones are well. Am doing fine, on a life rollercoaster & simply going with the ride, enjoying what I can & screaming out when I...

Merry Christmass to you all! I hope that you are doing well doing this festive season, enjoying the break & peace with your loved ones during this special season. Just wanted to share with you this outfit that I wore to the only Christmass party that I attended this year which was held an acquintance's house. I decided to go for a very simple look with this pre-loved black Zara dress that I had thrifted back in summer & spruced it up a bit with one of my favourite neckpieces, a gift...

What have you done recently that was out of your comfort zone, or simply something new? I went golfing with a friend...yes, you read it right, Golfing! The 'PWGT 2019', is an annual golfing event organized by 'Provinzperle', an event location & organiser based in Lüneburg for a good cause. It takes place at the the posh St. Dionyser Golf Club. I have never been to a Golf Club before, I mean in Kenya there is one in almost every city but unless you belong to a certain 'class' in the...

We had the opportunity to spend an amazing 8 day Holiday in Korfu (Corfu), a Greek Island in the Ionian Sea. It is the second largest of the Ionian Islands measuring a proper 592,8 square km. We stayed at the 'Robolla Beach Hotel & Apartment' which I can highly recommend especially for families with children because of not only it's facilities but also the hospitality of it's staff. The food, weather & general atmosphere in Korfu was wonderful & even though we did not see much...

Looks who's back! Hi guys! It feels strange typing here, strange but somehow nice, like reconnecting with an old friend after parting ways. You've both changed with time & don't know how to start all over again, but there's a certain feeling of anticipation that comes with experiencing fun & new things together. You both still have fond memories of how good it feels when you are together but at the same time you want to take time to get to know each other again. Somehow like trying to...

I should already be in bed by now but here I am, wide awake as I type this special Blogpost. It's not just any normal day for me because my baby boy is turning 5 years today. Typing it makes it feel even more real & maybe reading this a couple of times will help me get used to the idea that I have a 5 year old son! Going through the photos & videos that I've made of him through the years bring back such beautiful memories which in turn make me feel so grateful to have him in my...

How do you go about trying out new things, trends or adventures? Do you try them out cautiously or are you the type that goes all in at once? In my case it really depends on what it is, for example the 'Snake Print trend' that we have seen all over in the last couple of seasons. In my opinion this trend is not really a classic for me, so as with all such, I choose not to invest a lot on it. On the contrary , this is where I scour Ebay & thrift stores to find gently-worn pieces to add to my...
