It is a cold & windy day in November & am sharing pictures from my last holiday back in July, crazy I know! But I really need to see an image of myself somewhere warm & sunny, looking & feeling relaxed & at peace to remind myself that there are warmer days to come in future. Focus Flo, this dreary weather, dark days & equally dreary spirit will not last forever. We went to Pisa, Italy & stayed at this small & rustic hotel which was simply marvelous. We travelled...

A lot has changed in the recent times & in as much as I am a 'preacher of flexibility' (read my previous post), the current travel restrictions are slowly getting on my nerves. I don't know about you but I kind of feel cheated out of my '2020 Travel Plans'. I feel like I haven't gone anywhere this year (even when this post clearly tells another story). So, to try to get myself out of this 'Travel-rut' that I am in, let me take a nostalgic memory trip to 'Lübeck', a small & charming...

Happy New Year guys & welcome back to my Blog. I know it's like the third of week of January & this is only my first blog of 2020...sorry guys, Life happens. So, here it is, a Travel blog from my last trip of 2019 to Vienna, Austria. This was my first time ever to visit Vienna & I am still in awe of how beautiful the city is. So much to see, enjoy and do for visitors of all ages & all year round. I will definately be visiting it again sometime in Summer to enjoy what the city...

Growing up back home in Kenya, I remember playing Monopoly with my siblings, it was one of the only indoor games that we owned (the other ones being 'Chess' & 'Snakes & Ladders'). I believe that it was my older brother who got it for us & we really enjoyed 'buying & selling property' in London. Somehow years later, the names 'Waterloo, King Cross Station, Liverpool, Victoria....' are all still stuck in my head & what a experience it was to see & walk through these...

We had the opportunity to spend an amazing 8 day Holiday in Korfu (Corfu), a Greek Island in the Ionian Sea. It is the second largest of the Ionian Islands measuring a proper 592,8 square km. We stayed at the 'Robolla Beach Hotel & Apartment' which I can highly recommend especially for families with children because of not only it's facilities but also the hospitality of it's staff. The food, weather & general atmosphere in Korfu was wonderful & even though we did not see much...

Finally, here is the post that I promised some time back on this previous post about my trip to Leipzig over Easter. The weather was just perfect for such a trip & Leipzig did not disappoint at all. For me, Leipzig felt 'truly German', very correct, focused, old-fashioned, strong & full of history. It is a city full of very beautiful historical buildings & sites which need a longer stay in order for one to enjoy all of them. I guess this means that I will probably have to visit it...

I would be lying if I wrote that I travelled to the 'The Hague' just to attend the 'African Women in Europe' annual conference. It was actually a pre-birthday gift to myself & a chance to visit somewhere new, do something different or even meet new people. And I got to do all 3, 'The Hague' is beautiful & is definitely worth another visit.

Am taking a well deserved trip to Leipzig for a few days & I thought that I should share with you a few photos & experiences that I make here. I prefer this instead of waiting until I get back home where I will be overwhelmed again with work & life that I won't even be able to compile a good blogpost, if any at all. This is my first time visiting Leipzig & am very excited to experience the city & all it's beauty. I hope that you will enjoy the journey with me. I wiish you...

This is a story about love, an 'interracial love' to be precise, the fear of losing a new-found love, the fear for one's own life, a belief in the super-natural world, death threats, going against the 'oracle' to pursue a love that you believe in, a hope for a shared future, the start of a family in light of the unborn child....all this encompassed in a musical atmosphere. This enchanting story written by 'Micha Hamel', performed by some of the most beautiful voices that I have ever heard &...

If you are into movies like I am then am sure that you have watched a few where the character finds himself entering some sort of flying object & being transferred into a parallel world that he never knew existed. And that's exactly how I felt when I attended the recently ended 'Basel World 2018', an Exhibition for the Watches & Jewelry industry that takes place every year in Spring. Manufacturers of Watches, Jewelry & precious stones take this opportunity to introduce their new...
